Major Nationwide Ebay Boycott Underway Now

‪#‎boycottebay‬ @ebay.com BOYCOTT EBAY: Ebay has become very hostile to the mom and pop sellers. I am a disabled lady and they notified me that I would no longer be able to sell because I had to many "defects." Which is a system were buyers are led by e-bay to mark their transactions so they are labeled as defects. As a result small mom and pop sellers are being restricted. Restricted meaning they can never sell on E-Bay again.
I was shut down and told I could never sell on E-Bay again. E-bay is trying to get rid of the mom and pop sellers for the big box stores and the sellers from China. I am an elderly lady who tried very hard to make my customers happy. I had 2880 positive feedback, 2 neutral feedbacks, and 0 negative feedback I also had 8 E-Bay instigated defects on 880 transactions. I can never sell on E-Bay again. Doesn't sound right because it isn't right.
I don't know how I'll pay my bills now. It's hard to make extra money when you are elderly, disabled and can't walk.
Toys R Us has 65,000 feedback with 842 neutral feedback, and 1,200 negative feedback. There is no way I can find the number of defects they have. I'm sure I would be amazed at the sheer number. They are still selling.
I would like for everyone to boycott buying anything from the big box stores that are selling on E-Bay. Also boycott buying anything from China. I wish you would continue to buy from the little people who made E-Bay what they are today. Boycott everyone else. Behind every post you make please put #boycottEbay @ebay.com They are going down all by themselves. Let's just help them along... by NANCY WILLIAMS, member of Facebook group Former Ebay Sellers, https://www.facebook.com/groups/formerebaysellers/

Ebay CS Reps Trained to Call 911 Emergency Response

THE TOLL EBAY HAS TAKEN ON MANY PEOPLE'S LIVES: NEWS FLASH "- eBay Customer Service Operators now trained in Suicide & Heart Attack Crisis Calls - A recent recorded phone call to eBay Customer Service revealed that "Customer Service Representatives have been receiving phone calls from desperate eBay sellers who are suicidal or are having a heart attack", Evidently due to eBay's on-going extortion and criminal activity and the stress that is being placed on small to mid-size sellers who are losing their businesses. eBay Representatives are trained to attempt to calm the eBay seller down and "to immediately call 911 while the caller is still on the phone." This is evidently occuring more and more as eBay continues to be engaged in price fixing, collusion, unfair competition, extortion and fraud against small to mid-size sellers. Please spread the news. This is true and can be verified. This call happened by accident... There is a documentary called The Bridge which deals with those who jump from the Golden Gate Bridge. One of the jumpers was an eBay seller. This was brought up to Customer Service in passing and the conversation revealed something much darker. That there are many sellers who have been driven to thoughts of suicide.
Suspended eBay sellers have lost their homes. Lost their storages. Lost relationships. Gotten divorced. Their children have suffered. High School Graduates will not go on to college. Collections that took years to be built have been ravaged. Sold for pennies on the dollar. The elderly and handicapped have been extorted, used and stolen from. This is serious business. As serious as suicide..." (FORMER EBAY INSIDER)

Suspended by Ebay? Share Your Experiences for New Books Coming Out Soon

SUSPENDED BY EBAY OR HAD BAD EXPERIENCES WITH EBAY? We are in the process of assembling/compiling what people are saying nationwide about their experiences at eBay. Two books are being created to be released in the near future both as online ebooks and possibly in print media as well. THE EBAY PAPERS Death and Destruction of an American Economic Juggernaut. The working title for the other book is"What You Don't Know About Ebay Will Hurt You" exposing malfeasance and the abuse of sellers by the world's second largest online electronic selling platform. The author of the two books, Rich Vernadeau, is himself a former ebay seller and the founder of two Facebook groups (Former Ebay Sellers and Former Ebay Sellers 2 Open Forum). All submissions from former and current ebay sellers, users in their own words. Stories may also be submitted to (and will be used from) the OPEN FB group Former Ebay Sellers 2 Open Forum. Petition for FTC to regulate PAYPAL

https://www.change.org/petitions/federal-trade-commission-regulate-paypal   This is what the petition says:  The FTC must investigate Paypal and must regulate it as banks are regulated.
*Paypal operates like a bank but is not subject to any regulation as banks are.
*Paypal is not FDIC insured.
*Paypal uses deposits to make loans and collect interest, but does not pay interest on these deposits.
*Paypal holds deposited funds with little or no notice, leaving depositors with no access to their money for 21 days and in some cases several months.
*Paypal reaches into linked bank accounts and credit cards to hold funds if they deem there are insufficient funds in the Paypal account. This cannot be legal and should be investigated and regulated. This money belongs to depositors, not Paypal.
*Twenty one day holds on funds (and sometimes longer) is a terrible hardship on small merchants trying to struggle through the recession.
*In addition, one seller wrote that ten percent of his earnings are held for 6 months by Paypal! It's his money. How can this be legal?
*Sellers have no appeal process regarding the holds on their money. It often happens so rapidly they cannot prevent it./safeguard their own money.
* Paypal fees can exceed ten percent of transactions.
*There is no exact competition, Paypal is a virtual monopoly.
These are unfair and unethical business practices. Banks are regulated. Paypal operates as a global bank. The FTC must investigate Paypal and must make Paypal subject to banking regulations, since it operates as a bank. Oversight is required.
To:
Regulate PayPal
Sincerely,
[Your name]

How Ebay Is Squeezing the Little Guy Out Using Flawed DSR System

Starting in 2008, ebay put into place a number of bad policies aimed at the gradual elimination of the small sellers in favor of high volume sellers. CEO Donahoe said as much in a speech in which he called the mom & Pops "noise". Ebay is in the process of transforming into a virtual overstock warehouse venue, similar to Amazon, and the "little guy" is not part of that picture. One of the ways in which small sellers are being eliminated is through the flawed DSR (Detailed Seller ratings) system. Smalls sellers are more immediately and severely impacted by a few low DSR ratings (1's and 2's) than are high volume sellers. Various punitive measures instantly go into place at ebay against a small seller if a few low DSRs have been left by buyers (even if left by mistake or unfairly). Among the punitive measures ebay imposes are a 21-day hold on a seller's PayPal funds, lower placement of a seller's items in ebay search, and Seller limitations upon the number of items a seller can list on ebay. All of this is driving small sellers off the site, thousands of whom are leaving ebay of their own accord because of these adverse measures.
